“There are so many amazing and talented artists in Asia and we are on a continuous hunt to find these talents, bring them to light and make their work accessible to the international market. It is also important to highlight the increasing number of highly established galleries that are representing Asian artists in the region and to make their collections visible as well.”
Talenia received a BA(Hons) Architecture from Central Saint Martin’s in London, is a Loke Cheng Kim Scholar, and lived in London for almost 10 years. She is now based in Asia where she continues to search for artists and galleries all around the region.
Born and raised in Germany, Martin obtained a masters degree in Economics and Information Technology at the University of Applied Science (FHDW). After graduating in 2005, he joined Bayer AG, building financial web-applications. He later moved on to ProUnix GmbH, maintaining a large web-based petition system for renowned German charity organisation "Aktion Mensch".
While pursuing his corporate career, Martin discovered the Python programming language and began working on commercial side projects. The hobby quickly grew into a full business. In 2010 he visited Singapore and decided start his own web agency in the sunny nation state. To this day, he has advised many Singaporean startups and strives to enrich the local tech scene as an active member of the Python User Group and the organizing committee of the annual Python Conference in Singapore.
Kim is a recent graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she majored in Art History and Government, with a minor in Russian. She has worked in the American Art Curatorial and Marketing & Communications departments at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and previously interned at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute.
Yunyi majored in Art History at the University of Melbourne in Australia. She has previously interned at international auction houses, Christie’s (Singapore) and Sotheby’s (Hong Kong), as well as volunteered at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne. She is currently also a regular arts contributor for various online publications.
Prior to joining The Artling, Hannah was the Assistant Director of Connoisseur Art Gallery in Hong Kong. She studied at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and graduated with a BSSc(Hons) Psychology. She is also a passionate music lover and is a member of The Philharmonic Winds in Singapore where she performs as a percussionist.
With her 8 years of experience in the art domain and having travelled to numerous important art fairs around the world, Hannah is savvy with the art scene and believes in connecting art with people. Throughout her career, Hannah’s keen eye for details and affable personality has connected her with countless art lovers and collectors, assisting them in their acquisition and building of art collection in both the private and corporate sectors.
