9mouth 九口走召 was born in 1988 in Jingzhou, China, and now lives and works in Beijing. He has had a number of solo exhibitions in China: Cao's "Bedroom", Wuhan (2010); The Hidden Fragrance, Yuan Art Museum, Beijing (2015); Relating Wind, Being 3 Gallery, Beijing (2015); Always waiting for you, Live Art Space & WE Space, Xiamen, China (2016). He has also participated in group exhibitions throughout China, and in Switzerland, the United States, Russia, Italy and more.

In 2015, he was a finalist for the Three Shadows Photography Award in Beijing, and in 2014, was awarded as an Excellent Photographer at the 5th China Jinan International Photography Biennial, Jinan, China.
