ABOUT MY WORKS :
I paint contemporary landscapes with mostly acrylic, building by the surfaces of canvas or paper with layers of paint and glazes using a combination of brush and spatula (painting knife).
My subject matters are found in the in the natural surroundings that I see from my journey – country fields, fieldscapes, mountains, skyscapes and waterscapes too.
My paintings are aesthetical response to what I see in my country, depicted different climates and scapes. Somewhat, I captured it on my canvas from my memory of that place and moment. I enjoy using acrylic paint because of its fast dry nature.
For me, painting is a poetic expression. They are my diaries of aesthetic beauty and poetry found in my surroundings.
