Aaron Gan

Aaron Gan (b. 1979, Singapore) is an artist based in Singapore. Gan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia in 2003, and started painting full-time in 2012 after joining the Singapore Watecolour Society. He is also a member of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Club and Singapore Art Society. Gan is a self-taught watercolourist with a passion for landscapes, who is driven by his search for new and innovative approaches to the medium. His inspiration stems from both Western and Chinese painting aesthetics, a convergence of watercolour with the aesthetic of Chinese composition.
