Born in 1980 and of Hong Kong origin, Wong grew up on the boundary that separated the culture and history of the Chinese and American societies, which has led, against his will, to blurred memories and confused roots.
Originally trained in research psychology, Adrian Wong began making and exhibiting work in San Francisco while completing his master’s thesis on developmental psycholinguistics. He is now living between Hong Kong and Los Angeles where he teaches sculpture and critical theory at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Wong had several solo show such as Troglodyte See The Light at Osage Gallery Hong Kong (2012) and Redux Ltd Los Angeles (2011), Animal Drawings at Saamlung Gallery Hong Kong (2012) and participated to many group exhibitions worldwide.
