Alvin Mak is a visual artist and mechanical engineer based in Hong Kong. He is self taught and has been creating art since 2001.
His works explore a variety of medium from photography, art prints, sculptures to installations. He is drawn to abstraction and visual movement. He examines the interference of light to pursue mesmerizing visuals.
The creative journey led to video art and virtual objects. The time component plays on the movement and the flow of the elements. His aim is to explore and develop innovate new visual language.
