Amanda Rubenstein
Hometown: Melbourne
Based in: Canberra
After many years experimenting with different representational art techniques, I discovered a preference for abstract art, using acrylic paints on canvas.
I mostly paint in a spontaneous, automatic style, using unique gestures and brush strokes that give each painting an essence of individuality. Conversely, I sometimes prefer to work within boundaries, focusing on colour placement rather than brush strokes and spontaneity, to produce a more structured, predictable outcome. Though my range of work includes these two distinct techniques, it encapsulates aestheticism.
I have a range of sizes available, however, I like to work on large canvases where I have the freedom to make striking colour statements designed to capture and hold attention. I use artist quality paints and materials to ensure vibrancy and longevity. All my paintings are varnished and ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity is included. Some paintings include a professionally constructed natural solid oak float frame.
We don't have any works from this artist at the moment.
