Ana Duncan lives and works in her studio in Dublin, Ireland. Her works are primarily in bronze. She has exhibited in numerous galleries and exhibitions. She has completed large scale public sculptures in Ireland, New Hampshire, USA, and Jiangsu, China.
Her work is represented in collections in Europe, USA, Australia, and UK.
What inspires you?
Nature inspires me, and the human figure.
Describe your creative process.
I make my sculptures in clay, usually starting with a small maquette, which is really my sketch, working this size means I can change postures and gestures easily, this is where the creativity is born.
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Barbara Hepworth, Brancusi and many more.
