Andrea Amorusi (1986) metalworker by profession, photographer by passion. He started shooting for fun almost nine years ago, training at the photo club of Montelupo Fiorentino with the opportunity to learn from Paolo Fontani and Pier Giuseppe Fumagalli.
Having become a member of the club, he participates in seven photographic exhibitions and competes with his landscape photos in two editions of the “Cupolone Trophy” competition in Florence.
Subsequently, inspired by Markus Reugels and Shinichi Maruyama, he changes the subject.
In 2018 together with Simone Giorli they give life to the ACQUASCULTURE project, which will lead them to exhibit at the Galata Museo del Mare in Genoa in March 2019 during the "Waves of life" exhibition, then at Palazzo Zenobio in Venice in May 2019, at the Royal Villa of Monza in June 2019 and finally to win the Fiora Art prize of Grosseto in July 2019 which allowed him to exhibit his works in December 2019 at the Santa Maria della Scala Museum in Siena.

What inspires you?
when I'm looking for inspiration, I look for it in my Tuscan countryside, observing streams and water ponds...
Describe your creative process.
The main subjects of our works are WATER SCULPTURES that we are able to create using a particular system developed over the years in our laboratory. The photographic shots, as they come out of the camera without any graphic manipulation, are subsequently printed on aluminum panels and framed with natural wood. The finished works are limited edition pieces of furniture, autographed and certified by the artist Andrea Amorusi
Where do you go for inspiration?
When i want to be inspired, i walk through the Tuscan hills, observing streams and water ponds
