A master of abstraction through her camera, Cameron’s work gives a sense of light, texture and depth that offers a unique perspective of our natural world. Coming through the era of darkroom and slide film, Cameron welcomed the digital revolution embracing it all of its forms.
The interpretive, impressionistic aspect of abstract photography gave Cameron her artistic vision of a place, through her intuitive process. Focusing on light forms, colour and subtle graduations the photographs convey emotion and connection seen beyond the obvious.
Influenced by Cameron’s darkroom days, abstractions take on a alternative process-like feel, subjects are captured on location in unobvious places. Taking art from ordinary to extraordinary, exploring a new world through macro photography, image layering and long exposures to achieve a multidimensional effect.
Exploring our surroundings in a new abstract way through my artistic vision of a place. In camera techniques on location allow creative ideas in photography to emerge. A new perspective with artistry and impact connects you.
