Areeya Pornsiriviwat was a creative advertising consultant, media development consultant. She has been working in the creative industry for over 20 years. Most of her advertising projects emphasize the importance of how creative ideas can meet communication objectives. The advertising domain requires her skills to consider concept, content, and context to reach the target group. Her creative training allows her to work with multidisciplinary media that are appropriate to achieve the objective without resorting to any particular medium.
Deep down, she is always fascinated by visual arts, especially painting because she thinks it is honest and straightforward. She enjoys the experience of art creation especially in the conceptual part of the process.
At the beginning of 2021, she decided to quit her full-time job to be able to focus on art creation.
In 2021 and 2022, she was an artist in residence at River City Bangkok. She participated in small group exhibitions organized by River City Bangkok. She exhibited in Bangkok Hotel Art Fair and group exhibitions in Sky View Hotel, Bangkok. During this time, she also conducted creative painting workshops for beginners.
