Hi! My name is Bogdana, or shortly - Dana. I am a university student studying Business Administration, and my favorite hobby is reading. So when I started to paint, I decided that I will become an artist who transforms the emotions and lessons I experience through books into abstract, modern art. When I read, I dive deep into the stories—feeling every emotion, living every relationship, and reflecting on the complex lessons they reveal. Painting is my way of sharing those moments with others, translating the power of words into bold, visual expressions.
I began painting about two years ago as a hobby, experimenting on paper to express the narratives I connected with. This year, I became more serious about my work, moving to canvas and sharing my art with others through platforms like Artling. Painting has become more than just a passion—it’s my way of inviting people to experience the richness of life’s stories through color, texture, and form.
For me, art is about reminding us that life is never simple or one- dimensional. It’s layered, unpredictable, and deeply moving—just like the stories we tell and the lives we live. Life is a constant interplay of contrasts—light and shadow, chaos and calm, hope and doubt—and through my art, I strive to capture that complexity and invite viewers to reflect on their own narratives.
