She is a self-taught artist and works as a lecturer of English at a state university in Turkey. Her goal in creation is simply to show personal and social decadence, alienation to self and society. Carrying out research in the field of educational sciences, she combines concepts and ideas with her practice on canvas. Inspired by social issues in the international arena and Chomsky’s ideas about manufacturing consent, she is trying to depict a reality in an imaginary context with her own vocabulary: by presenting discordant objects from past and present, man image, and a crying background. And in her latest series "Hidden in Plain Sight", she explores the means such as media, forms, color, etc. making us believe, like or feel sympathy for the things that are already known to be debauched or corrupted. From corruption and the ugliness of interpersonal relations, she also wants to create beauty while trivialising and changing the forms of the objects and bodies.
