After engaging in numerous product design endeavors, my focus shifted three Years towards the exploration of wood. Amidst the challenges of the Covid era, I began crafting distinctive wood wall clocks, each resembling small sculptures. Inspired by this, I embarked on the journey to create larger wall sculptures. My artistic vision is embodied in two distinct collections: FLOW and ZEN. The FLOW collection finds its inspiration in the graceful meander of rivers as they journey towards the shore. Each piece captures the essence of life's continuous flow, inviting observers to contemplate the harmony and rhythm of existence. In the ZEN collection, I explore the beauty of harmonious shapes and forms. These sculptures aim to evoke tranquility and balance, providing viewers with a serene moment of reflection amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life.
As my artistic themes delve into the mysteries of life, I utilize wood as my medium, seeing it as a living material. My sculptures embrace a minimalist aesthetic, where the principle of "less is more" guides my approach. Through the symbolic language of parallel lines, meandering forms, and symmetrical shapes, I convey profound messages. My creative process begins with handcrafted sketches, serving as the foundation for digital refinement. Once the form takes shape, I apply stained colors for the base and acrylics to add intricate details and depth to my works. Presently, work in town of Varazdin in North of Croatia under guidance of several Academic painters and sculptors as my mentors.
