Elisa is a young talented artist from Indonesia. She explores the concepts of psychoanalysis and urban spiritualism which bring a surreal nuance to her abstract expressionistic paintings.
Despite her young age, she has a mature style resulting from her keen observation of human emotions and their complexities: sadness, despair, anger, disenchantment, despondency, shame, emptiness, peace, pleasure, joy and so on.
For Elisa, abstract forms bring out the true essence of colours and emotions. It gives the perception of space. For her, the pigments sprinkled inorganically into disparate shapes lends to unlimited freedom of thought.
