Hi, I`m an artist from Germany, more precisely from Koblenz, a nice little city on the Rhine. I studied Romance languages and literature and art history, at the FU in Berlin. As an artist, I´m self-taught. I have been a member of the professional association of visual artists (BBK) since 2022.
I`m interested in geometric shapes and traditional patterns: gothic treachery, Islamic patterns, Celtic knots, Japanese mathematics, Korean font, folk art, and everything connected with the topic. Patterns are fascinating because they are a universal language that everyone can understand.
Together with my partner, for ten years now I have been running a gallery specializing in color field painting, hard-edge, and geometric abstraction, presenting artists from Italy, France, Denmark, Sweden, the USA, Japan, and Germany.
The use of precise geometric shapes and the formation of structures as a design form is characteristic of my work. The geometric shapes form the construct for my color explorations, they remain constant in the repetition, and the arrangement, combination, surface size, and color constellation are varied. So theoretically an infinite number of variants can be played through
