After a first professional phase dedicated to architecture, in 2014 Cristina Vallejo founded ELSUR design brand with the aim to develop furniture and contemporary craftsmanship objects.

Moving between design, crafts, and art, her proposals explore new approaches to processes and materials with the Spanish culture and tradition as inspiration. Her diverse works share the intention of suggesting new perspectives on the objects she designs. Each piece is conceived with a different approach to tell a separate story through the object itself.

All the works that she creates are unique pieces made partially or entirely by hand. She combines her work at ELSUR with a more personal project, the creation of what she has defined as textile pottery, the “AT Vessels”, hand-made by her.
