What inspires you?

A lot of my work is influenced by the surrounding landscape and my connection to it.

My creative process varies from working from photographs of the landscape to working intuitively.

I would describe my creative process as play, investigative, bold.

Some of the artist I'm influenced by include Cy Twombly, Josef Albers and Peter Halley

What is the most important tool when creating your work?

Music is an important tool I use to help channel my energy to create work.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

Nothing is sacred in the studio.

Where do you go for inspiration?

Going to art museums and galleries help inspire me to get creative.
