Eunghan Choi

A ceramist, Eunghan Choi, who has had more than 150 exhibitions, including five solo exhibitions, says his work is still in progress. He is constantly studying and experimenting with the physical properties of soil —finding materials for ceramics —and as a result, he produces artworks different from other, more common materials. Transforming from a soft and gentle substance to a cold and rigid material, "ceramics" go through a lot of challenges. The physical properties of these materials allow his work to reach yet another visual state.
