I began a new painting journey several years ago, when I felt drawn to let go of rendering concrete, realistic representations of objects and instead paint the feelings and emotions of my subjects using the colors that I choose to represent them. Painting became an outlet for me to pour my stress out and find sacred moments of peace and joy. Each of my paintings is inspired by my personal journey through life: friendship, loss, resilience, bravery, growth, travel, finding joy. You will find that flowers are a predominant focus in my work for their many symbolism throughout life. I hope my paintings conjure up joyful feelings for you, transporting you to a place of lightheartedness, healing and wonder.
