Jingjing Fang was born in Putian, Fujian Province, China. Her series "bad temper" is an exercise in surrealism. To observe the life and experience of the surrounding harsh social environment, she puts forward questions and reflection. The works contain "humour," using the "composition, totem, story" and other elements. They depict the interdependence of human nature in its contradictions and conflicts, the relationship between human and environmental culture.

What inspires you?
Nature is full of primitive and wild vitality: rocks, soil, trees, water. The bare material, shape and color in nature. With the passage of time, there is no matter that will not change, there is no fixed feeling. All sense and all nature are empty. Comfort and discipline are not everything in life, "doing the design time itself".
Describe your creative process.
I like to express with series creation. Creation does not come entirely from the mastery of knowledge, but from observation and questioning of the surreal world. There will be many accidental and random factors in the process. Keep some dark humor to output the complicated people and things in your mind: the simple and quiet relationship. The development of the output concept requires repeated and tireless learning. It is inevitable to feel such contradictions and painful struggles. Experience the inequality in life, the heart will maintain a state of war. The process of long-term experience and precipitation is indispensable.

What is the most important tool when creating your work?
As a person's fate, existence and the meaning of life, constantly thinking, searching.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
The work of the artist is not to tell people what they have done, but to clarify his will to live. Eternal return to the place of origin is the driving force and resource to maintain the contemplation of life, death, love and the earth.
Where do you go for inspiration?
All come from life, and there is no answer.
