Hailing from the Glasgow School of Art Singapore, it is Georgina Tan’s personal conviction that art has an illuminating presence in life. Its enlightenment is subtle but perennial in our daily conversations, memories, Science and epiphanies. As such, her work revolves around the trajectory of realities and human perceptions, visually exploring themes of parallel universes, unsaid truths and the affective message of emotion - the very thing that grounds us as humans. As an artist pursuing a degree in communication design, she feels that art, like the essence of our being, is hard to grasp, yet it surrounds us and demands to be felt. Georgina Tan specializes in photography, graphic design and typography.
