Born in 1991 in South Korea, Haya Kim moved to Flint Hills, Kansas, United States in 2010. She received an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art - LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting (Baltimore, MD) in the class of 2018. She is currently living and working in New York.

From the memory and surrounding nature, she finds her expression and contemplation through her freely moving brush.
