Joyce is an emerging Singaporean Artist. Her love and passion is in Abstract expressionism. Self-taught in Abstract Art, she is also under the tutelage of local artist Mei Ho. Drawing her inspirations mainly from sentiments, experiences and her surroundings’ state-of-mind, Joyce desires her art to evoke strong emotions in her audiences. “My hope is that the viewer will feel different moods, ignite a sense of euphoria or even goosebumps when they look at my pieces.’ Highlighting on the interplays of human experiences of happiness, upheavals, despair and self-discovery; her abstractions are molded with a blend of emotive energy and gestural freedom.
Joyce held a number of duo and group exhibitions in Singapore, the latest one in October 2024 at Ion Art Gallery.
She also had the opportunity to be the sole contributing artist for various charities,The New Charis Mission’s Charity Golf auction in September 2023 and People’s Association Bukit Batok Golf charity auction in 2024.
