What inspires you?

Nature is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Nature is a perfect creator. All its creations are perfect. Living beings are amazing and beautiful. The imagination of nature is inimitable.

Describe your creative process.

The idea usually starts as small details, rarely the whole painting. When an idea pops up in my mind, I either sketch it or take notes on my phone if I don't have a sketchbook. When I stumble upon something great, I can't wait to paint it and even lose sleep over it. It's like falling in love. Once I have the idea, I take reference photos of myself, my ball-jointed doll, clay head, or other objects needed for painting. Finally, I start painting.

What is the most important tool when creating your work?

Thin brush and a finger to spread paint.

Where do you go for inspiration?

I don't wait for inspiration to come to me; rather, I find that inspiration often comes during work. I start sketching or drawing something, regardless of what it is, and the inspiration follows.
