I deconstruct and reconstruct daily situations, both perceived and observed, to create the imaginary scenes that unfold in my work. The use of acrylic paint is the vehicle that allows digital and real environments to brush up against each other, to substantiate or picture the plasticity of post-modern society. Such as the reflections of artificial (screen)lights that bounce of buildings, streets, people, and objects. Beyond the physical, I like to depict ambiances, states of being, and emotions – for this I merge colors from different color families, often drawn to gradual tones of blues and grays: melancholic or dream-like moods.
