I am a 33-year-old artist from Connecticut. I graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a BFA in painting. In the past 10 years of my career I have worked with Paul Calendrillo Fine Art, NYC, Isis Pheonix Art, London, and currently Isabella Garrucho Fine Art, Greenwich CT. I have finally taken the next step of becoming a full-time self-employed artist and am looking forward to working for many years to come connecting with others and sharing the message my art offers.
The journey of self-discovery is both my motivation and process for making art. I believe art has the power to heal. Drawing inspiration from midcentury design and sacred art from around the world, each piece is a visual meditation on canvas that invites viewers into a sacred inner space to explore the mind/body/spirit connection, and to connect with inner space of peace, balance, and self-reflection. My intention harmony to the mind/body/spirit connection and offer a sense of personal empowerment, and light to spaces and viewers alike.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by spirituality, metaphysics, and esoteric wisdom traditions from around the world. Symbols, sacred geometry, and numerology also play a big role in shaping my visual language.
What are 3 words that best describe your work?
Spiritual, Sacred, Mystical
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Hilma Af Klint has been one of the most inspiring artists for me given her process for creating works through deep spiritual alignment as a medium. Her visual language as well inspires me through her use of symbol and geometry. I also have been inspired by the strong visual language Keith Haring developed. His use of minimal form and symbol to speak in such a large and universal way to an international audience fascinates me. The power of simplicity.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
A very spiritually adept and successful world traveled artist once gave me this as her advice after a long discussion about art and where I am in my journey; she said, Trust your gut, follow your heart, and love the hell out of life.
Where do you go for inspiration?
The ocean is the place I go when I feel stuck in any way. Something about the sound, sitting on the rocks, the water lapping in and out, in and out, like the sound of the earth breathing, the pulse of the universe, its very hypnotic. After a good half hour or more of being in that trance I always come back to feeling renewed and aligned .
