Lot Arboleda graduated Fine Arts major in Advertising from the College of the Holy Spirit where she currently teaches computer graphic design. She currently pursuing Masters of Fine Arts in University of the Philippines, Diliman.
Lot’s artwork is a combination of photography and digital imaging process techniques, creating an illusionary world, yet not far enough in reality. Lot randomly shot photographs on the street, textures, vandals, people and ordinary found objects she feels have significance, though seems they don’t have. She assembled each elements using a computer. Every piece is a familiar object, creating an illusionary image that lets the audience create an interpretation base on their perception.
Lot feels that digital imaging software is helping tool for a camera that lets the artist create images that can be a reflection of her own vision.
