What are 3 words that best describe your work?
Colors, Dynamics, Priorities
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Figurative painters who tend to show either gratefulness and beauty in their work, like David Hockney, Ines Longevial, or satire, like David Shrigley or Chloé Whise. I also get a lot of strenght from artists tackling social issues I am interested in, like Olafur Eliasson and Jenny Holzer--they remind me that I shouldn't be afraid of showing an opinion in my art, even when it results in a loss of career opportunities. I am also extremely vulnerable when it comes to color focused practices, like Vincent Van Gogh, Jason Martin, Mark Rothko and the Abstract Expressionism movement in general.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Breathing can help
Where do you go for inspiration?
Inspiration comes from everyday encounters, but you can create for yourself a life where these encounters will be more frequent. Regularly visiting galleries, following the right accounts on social media and investing my time in human relationships are my way to bring inspiration to my life more easily.
