Mariam Shakarashvili

Mariam Shakarashvili is a Georgian artist born in 1993 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. She has been graduated with a master’s degree from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, section painting in 2017. She worked as Artistic director and curator at the Dresden International Plein Air for the exhibition Kultur Synchron in 2022. She was also at the same year as curator in Eristavi Gallery in Antwerp, Belgium, founder and curator of ADAMIA GALLERY, as partner organization for “Ars Longa Kunst und Kulturmanagement in Dresden, Germany and founder of Aleksander-Aleko Adamia Dresden International Art Residency in Dresden, Germany. She regularly teaches paintings and drawings at Tbilisi Art School. She participated to numerous group shows in Georgia and abroad, including the Venice Biennale for the exhibition Time, Space, Existence at Palazzo Mora in Venice, Italy in 2017.
