Marianne Quinzin is a professional painter, graduate of the Decorative Arts and the School of Fine Arts in Lyon, France. She has been fully dedicated to painting for about twenty years, she lives and works in Rouen, France.

What inspires you?
The associations of colors and natural elements are for me recurring sources of inspiration, nature and landscape themes that I love.
Describe your creative process.
In the beginning, the color. To pose the paint, to act on the matter. Hide, cover, then be a spectator of what exists outside oneself. Remove, scratch, scratch, sand, wash.

My artistic affinities are varied and eclectic.
