A Singapore - based independent photographer and Creative Director, Melvin Mapa's enthusiasm for photography came about at an early age of 7 when his parents gave him a KODAK 110 camera which he uses to take pictures of his family and neighbours. Having both parents as community servants, he grew up socially-aware and this was pivotal in his ingenuity as a photographer.
