Mio Yamato

Mio Yamato was born in 1990 in Shiga, Japan. She received her BFA and MFA from the Kyoto University of Art & Design, Kyoto, Japan, in 2013 and 2015, respectively.

She has exhibited in Kyoto and Tokyo. She won the Jury Prize from the Contemporary Art Foundation Art Awards, Tokyo, Japan in 2015. In 2013, she won the Audience Prize from the Ultra Award, Kyoto, Japan and the Jury Prize from Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi, Tokyo, Japan.
