Nataliia Karavan is an experienced Ukrainian artist who has exhibited her work internationally in London, Paris, and Ukraine. Her art path started after the foundation year in Camberwell college of arts, where she has done research about the color movement. She searched herself in fashion during the BA course in London and later found the true path in painting. She's got a Masters degree in Art and Design and started to teach art for kids and adults in China and Ukraine. Nataliia is a hard-working and passionate female artist who creates artworks on a daily basis from her studio in Ukraine. Currently, her paintings are in private collections in UAE, USA, Germany, Austria, UK, Russia, and Ukraine.

What inspires you?
I'm inspired by Ukrainian traditional patterns seen on Ukrainian head scarves, known as 'khustka' , various contemporary artist, nature patterns, flowers and color combinations.
Describe your creative process.
I paint in an abstract style, layer by layer creating an aesthetically strong piece trusting my intuition and primary sketches based on research of patterns, movements, compositions and colors of nature, plants, flowers. I love to mix oil, spray paint, epoxy resin and create expressionist vibrant brushstrokes on canvas.
