Istanbul based conceptual interdisciplinary artist who is mainly focused on performance art, photography and video art while being also interested in other similar conceptual disciplines such as mixed media, collage and installation. Arslan frequently examines linked but various subjects such as society and individual in the concept of part and whole relationship, gender, perspective of thinking process, existence and ways of it, memory as a product and a place of consciousness, the concept of belonging and possession, perception of boundary and liberty, understanding of time... As an empath, dyslexic and synesthesist artist, she expresses, discusses, links, observes, examines, opens, understands and communicates her existence through art. As a result, the artist often concerns with self-improvement, self-observation and self-confrontation.
Aside from her art projects, Arslan collaborates with platforms and collectives, produces various projects on social issues, also works freelance as an editor, photojournalist and partly writer. As an artist, she is independent and working for herself at the moment.
