Noor Mahnun Mohamed lives and works in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She teaches Art Criticism and Professional Studies at the Malaysian Institute of Art, Kuala Lumpur. She is working on a long-term project, an online ‘Digital Archive for Printmaking’ initiated under the Asian Public Intellectual fellowship, a programme funded by the Nippon Foundation Grant. She is also doing a series of illustrations based on a story ‘The Very Clever King of Lombok’ by best selling author Dina Zaman, the book is due to be published in 2017. Currently, she is writing for a catalogue publication of Rumah Lukis inaugural exhibition ‘CARTA’, a showing of artist Jalaini Abu Hassan early drawings.
