I was born in 1975 in the French Antilles, island of Guadalupe. I live and work in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated as an Architect in the Faculty of Architecture Design and Urbanism of Buenos Aires, where I worked as a teacher in the areas of Architectural Design and Morphology.
Architecture and design were the starting point for research in different disciplines such as drawing, sculpture and theatre.
I then undertook a course of training in different workshops and spaces that introduced me into the artistic practice and and in the generation of individual and collective artistic projects in the field of visual and performing arts.
In turn, I participated in different national competitions of architecture, audiovisual, sculpture and artistic interventions, obtaining awards and honorable mentions.
I understand artistic work as a transversal journey, with the fusion of disciplines and exchange, a sort of sedimentation by layers forming a new substrate. Particularly in drawing I am interested in working with the architecture of the gesture, the geometrization of the drag, the trace, the residual, the improvisation, the memory, the journey, the time and the space.
What inspires you?
Architecture, geometry, abstraction, space, time, memory, visual poetry, fusion of languages.
What are 3 words that best describe your work?
Trace, layers, line space, poetic architecture.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
You don’t have to go anywhere. The best part is in the middle, not the ends
