Currently living in the Isle of Man, my inspiration is the incredible landscape, surrounding sea and the dramatic skies.
I studied Fine Art at the prestigious Bath Academy of Art in the ’70s and have painted with determination and passion ever since.
With subtleties of colour and a prolonged working process, my aim is to evoke a response from the viewer and an opportunity to lose themselves in the vastness of the landscape, whatever the size of the work. I work in watercolour in the field and in oils on fine linen.
Worked as a professional artist since 1990

Turner. The Cubists - Picasso, Braque, Duchamp. Hockney.

My wide brush.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
That it is never better than when it goes wrong, because then you have freedom because there is nothing to loose.
