Born in 1977, Prae, Thailand. Piyarat graduated with BFA (Hons) from Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier Agglomération, Montpellier, France (2010) and BA (Communications) from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia (2000). Piyarat works with various media include video, text, photograph, mix-media etc. Piyarat’s work usually engage her own interest including other sciences, humanities, social science, political philosophy and other contemporary issues, for example, gender, sub-culture, culture exchange and globalization etc. Some of Piyarat solo exhibition includes messages from no where to no where at Lyla Gallery, Chiang Mai, Thailand (2015), TRANCE at Gallery VER, Bangkok, Thailand (2014), Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community? at Angkrit Gallery, Chiang Rai, Thailand (2013), Queerness at Toot Yung Gallery, Bangkok, Thailand (2012).
