Description
My favorite character Frankenstein, consists of a combination of various objects made, inspires me to start my work in collage art. Collage Art is a process of renewable and recycled which I captivated deeply. The first step of creation starts in the memories, which are hidden in the subconscious, then follow with the instinct. Just like the vampires always know where the blood is.
One of my favorite films “Everything is Illuminated”, the leading man collects all the materials from the family, and display on the wall in the plastic bags. Identically, I prefer the classification of all the images in categories, those fine clues connects by each set my mind at ease.
There are two artists influence me,one is Tadanori Yokoo/JAPAN. In his works, the colors and the composition stay in my memories of teen years, like ghost lingers on my body, it makes me to obey and respect the internal and physical needs sincerely, and reflect on my works. And Rene Magritte/ BELGIUM, the airy of calm and trance in his paintings is what I am searching for at this stage.
I am always obsessed in the category in A-Z and the absurdity of B Cult films, same as my creation, reminds of me how fascinating it is within myself.
