Robert Andler-Lipski is North East England based visual artist, printmaker and educator.
He is experimenting with a wide range of mediums and materials attaching typical painting routines and collages methods with mixed printmaking techniques.
He is working from a number of various and often mutually incompatible influences, seamlessly blending figurative subjects with abstract forms developing his own distinctive and recognizable artistic language.
Robert, simultaneously to his artistic practice, works as a SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) Teacher in one of leading secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
Robert Andler-Lipski born in 1968 in Poland. Studied Methodology of Art Teaching and Philosophy. Completed Decorative Tapestry Weaving in Poland and Artistic Mosaic in Italy master courses.
Robert Andler-Lipski is a committed artist of a deep humanistic frame of mind and exceptionally individualistic sensitivity. General understanding of nature along with a poetry, music, elusive emotions - both commonly considered as a positive and those a negative ones - also momentary impressions created by them in a frames of floating time, the beauty of the human’s body are the main inspirations for his creativity.
Robert Andler-Lipski exhibited his works in several museums and galleries in Europe and in Taiwan. His artworks are included in private and institutional collections in over 20 countries worldwide.
He is also an author of three poetry books and a number of a number of artistic publications.

There are some of my thoughts which I'm repeatedly telling to myself: If I have time to whine and complain, then I have time to do something about it. If I want to do something and I still wait for inspiration, I should better give up... and start something else. I am not in competition with anyone.

Describe your creative process.
I'm working with a wide range of mediums and materials. Some of my works are really really complex... maybe that's why I'm drifting into ink drawing more and more, to find some peace and relief...

Complicated simplicity. Intellectual emotionalism. Poetry of imperfection.
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Sadly, no one...
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
My mind.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Never rush, never push. Everything is happening in its own pace... Let it happen then. And just observe.

Inside of me.
