Art is the face of the psyche
Without light there is no vision, but without colour there is no feeling. That is the essence of my creation, a guiding force to disinter beauty through the language of colours.
A portrait artist, uniquely integrating the eclectic use of different colours in my portraits to evoke emotions through the theory of colour science. It is my mission to portray people as beautifully as possible to illuminate the human essence in which life revolves from, a principle I apply to all my works, which sets a defining feature, distinctly recognising my pieces.
I’m a self-taught artist from London, starting a full-time professional artistic career in 2020, voraciously pursuing my aptitude for art and building the foundation for an extensive collection of creative works.
Art is the face of the psyche.
What inspires you?
Beauty and love is the main driving force to my creations, expressing the feelings through the emotions of colours viscerally.
Describe your creative process.
The creation process is a constant flow of imagination, therefore whatever medium I may have I create to the best ability something that’s mesmerisingly stunning. Mainly using oil paints to create vivid scenes of portraits through a multi layered method of glazing. My abstract work is more eclectic and free, one that fully expresses the use of colour to convey emotional principles.
What are 3 words that best describe your work?
Ethereal, vivid, and reverie.
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Anna Weyant, Tamara De Lempicka, and Edward Hopper. These are the main artists which has inspired my creativity and the path in which I chose to follow in my imagination.
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
The imagination and vision is the most crucial part of any creation.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Artists are the astronauts of the psyche, it is an artist job to not think of anything but to elucidate and create everything, for the world to see what is abstract and touch what exists only in the mind.
Where do you go for inspiration?
Life and love are the greatest inspiration because therein lies passion, and everything that is beautifully created springs from a persons passion.
