As a Swiss photographer residing in Morocco since 2007, my work is deeply influenced by the breathtaking landscapes that surround me. The desert, with its ever-shifting sands and boundless horizons, is my muse. My passion lies in capturing the ethereal beauty of the sand dunes, where nature's grandeur and the passage of time are vividly etched into the landscape.
In my photographic journey, I have embraced Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) as a technique to convey the essence of the desert. ICM allows me to transcend the literal and explore the abstract, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. Through this technique, I strive to capture the fluidity and dynamism of the dunes, conveying their perpetual motion and the play of light and shadow.
Living in Morocco has offered me an intimate perspective on the desert's mystique. The ever-changing dunes, sculpted by the winds, tell stories of resilience and transformation. My photographs aim to evoke the profound silence and meditative solitude of these landscapes, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of contemplation and discovery.
