Şevket Arık lives in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. He has a doctorate in Art Education, and has had five solo exhibitions in Turkey. He founded an art initiative with a few artist friends and has curated some of these exhibitions. He works with conceptual paintings, and recently is working on the object art concept.
