After graduating from arts school, Shaofeng has been devoting himself to art education and was appointed as chairman of the local calligraphy association. His artworks were recommended in national key publicity platform in 2021, some been collected by individuals and organizations.

Born in the northwest of China, his original intention of creation comes from years of deep love with the isolated land, starry night, simple ethnic minorities people…everything over there. At the intersection of reality and memory in another space, dawn or sunset, dead wood or winter snow...all make him unconsciously and deeply trace the passage of time.

Shaofeng is deeply obsessed with rekindling old memories through artistic expression, bringing the viewer into vessels of experience and feeling, evoking strong impressions of warmth or cold, reflecting the classical Chinese aesthetics between lightness and messiness, silently demonstrating the vigorous and restrained natural vitality.
