I grew up in an ordinary Taiwanese family. After my mother passed away when I was 19 years of age, drawing became a gateway to escape from sorrow and pain. For many years, continuous self-exploration and learning has allowed me to change my perspective of artistic creation towards the relation between “I” and “the world”.

The content of my artwork is primarily to discuss human psychology and sociology while adding elements of dreams. Through persistent painting work, I have developed my own philosophy of life. My works are largely composed of points and lines. Each stroke guides the viewer through a journey of discovery and self-reflection. My ultimate desire is to provide the viewer an experience of “Déjà vu” and enable him or her to transform this feeling into a personal emotion. The「Factory」Series have been rewarded by 2006 Fukuoka Asia Digital Art Awards( Merit Award) and collected by Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.


The works have to be viewed as a complete whole, in order for the meaning to be clearly apparent. Similar to water, H2O, if the elements were to be separated, it would merely just be two hydrogen atoms bonded to an oxygen atom. However, if there were to be numerous composites of H2O, a mysteriously borderless ocean will be formed from the humidity, thickness, and expansiveness. Therefore, the artist continues to accumulate his works; in hopes that one day, he could see the complete appearance of the mysterious ocean from his dream.
