Svetlana Martin (b. 1971) is an artist living and working in Germany. In her studio, she creates unique works of art every day, paying special attention to the fragility of the world around us and the value of life. Svetlana uses the alcohol ink technique, constantly experimenting with new ways to express her vision of the world. Butterflies, which often appear in her work, symbolize the soul and serve as a metaphor for transformation and spiritual awakening.
Svetlana was educated at Kuzbass State Technical University, and also studied at schools of modern painting in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Her works have been presented at international exhibitions in the USA, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Russia and the UK, and she has also taken part in charity projects.
Svetlana Martin's work has received awards, and her works adorn private collections in Europe and America.
