Hometown: Milano

Based in: Milano

I was born in Riga, a gothic historical city with a modern touch in Latvia. Grew up surrounded by Medieval and Belle Époque architecture which impacted on my foundation as an artist. However, having Russian ethnic heritage based in Baltic Europe country allowed me to have a multi-level language and cultural personality.
Having the desire to get progressive education environment, I went to England and then into the heart of Renaissance, Florence, where I was inspired by and learned from the famous Florentine School. In Florence I studied not only old masters but spent extensive time studying Japanese calligraphy, mythology and color theory.
Having a strong curiosity and inspiration for traditions and history I learned the art of restoring antique master pieces to bestow with a second life for generations to come.
During academic years I participated in several collective exhibitions and a personal solo show in Bologna.
Having graduated from Arts Academy in Florence I work in my Florentine studio on figurative and portrait genre as well as graphic drawings.
In the near future I'm planning to exhibit my new series in international group shows in Dubai, Berlin, Florence and Basel as well as having solo exhibitions.
