Vivian Borsani was born in Brazil, where she spent her first six years before moving to Hamburg with her family and then to Paris.
She enjoyed her artistic education in Paris at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs, inVenice at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and with the School of Visual Arts N.Y. in Urbino/Italy with Yannis Kounellis.

Vivian fell in love with Mallorca during her childhood and decided to move there 20 years ago, where she has been living and painting. On this beautiful coast of the Mediterranean sea she works successfully as a painter with an international career. Her art is not only appreciated locally, but also in Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Scandinavia and the USA. She is well known amongst European collectors.

This lively and cheerful artist exhibits all over the island, has art shows in her studio and is represented in galleries in the UK , Germany, Switzerland and France. Additionally she organizes exhibitions with other artists from Mallorca on Easter and in September for the “Nit de l’Art”. She has also done numerous art fairs in San Diego, Miami, London, Brighton and Innsbruck and works closely with interior designers in Mallorca and the UK.

In her studio, a two story house in the trendy area of Santa Catalina/Palma, Vivian lets her creativity flow and while painting on the first floor one can have a sneak peek into her creative process.

Her art revels in sumptuous colors, inspired by the sea and its creatures as well as flowers and blossoms in all their forms and colors.

A dreamlike, wild and beautiful cosmos – worthy of a mermaid.
