I am what I would describe a sculptress painter, and in this new body of works I envisioned abstract jungle scenes, highly textural which invite to a sense of walking through unknown territories. It is a journey in our collective mind and consciousness, asking questions rather than imposing ; it is an invitation to wonder. By creating textures often taken from fantasized landscapes and pouring endless thin layers of coloured water, I intend to challenge myself and the viewer to imagine and intepret what it seems that we see.
It is a call to indulge yourself in the moment of observation, an instant of vulnerability where the language of texture, colours, rhythm and abstract Nature, trigger your emotions and sensitivity. I believe these paintings can bring a change of light and atmosphere in any space, setting off inner and external positive energies.
Born in France in 1973, living in Israel since 1994, with some experience in luxury brand - Balenciaga Paris, and the field of auction house, I have completed a BA in Jewelry Design at Shenkar Engineering and Design Academy in 2008, and have worked as an independent jewelry designer, presenting wide collections at the best accessories shows in Europe, selling my designs primarily to museums stores such as the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and high end concept stores mainly located in Japan.
In 2015 I have decided to leave the jewelry business and pursue my journey in the world of art, I decided exploring clay, and since graduating in 2019 with the Diploma Studies at Benyamini, I have showed several bodies of works created in various ceramic techniques and additional new materials at Benyamini Gallery, By5 Gallery and Gal Gaon Gallery for diverse group exhibitions ; received a Certificate of Encouragement by the Luxembourg Art Prize in 2021 and I am a member of the International Visual Artists Association.
"Visual thinking can be innovative, rigorous, and conscious, without necessarily succumbing to verbal explanation. The greater proximity of visual expression to unconscious material is precisely what gives the best work of art their privileged sense of authenticity." Jonathan Fineberg "Modern Art at the Border of Mind and Brain"
